My 97 year old mother, has been in Greenways Residential Care Home in Long Itchington since September 2024. Initially she went in for respite care while my husband and I were on holiday.

However, she settled in so well and so quickly so that it was difficult to contemplate her returning to her own home and routine without great difficulty. Audrey is very happy in Greenways which suits her well. She is able to be herself and her natural buoyancy, sense of humour and like of attempting the odd song have not dimmed as a result of being in this particular care home, and she seems carefree.

When we have visited Audrey either to see her in Greenways or take her out, there has always been sufficient staff on duty and they seem attentive to the residents' needs. We have also found them to be responsive to our occasional requests as visiting relatives and they are helpful. Over the residents lounge there has always been at least one staff member keeping a watchful eye on things, whilst others are variously engaged. 

Audrey enjoys the varied daily activities that are put on to engage the residents and talks of the ones she remembers. Pictures on Facebook show her happily engaged in these. Friends and family who have visited have also remarked on her how content she is.

My Mum feels safe, cared for and at home. on a visit she commented on the kindness of the care she received. 

E.... has been at the Care Home for over three years now. Having had a family member stay there previously we knew that it was well run with very caring staff. 

We were very happy with the transition from Home to Care Home and the staff quickly got to understand E.... and what her needs were. She is very trusting of the staff there because they care for her so well. 

We are kept well informed of any issues, which are dealt with for us by the staff and Management. Any queries we have are responded to promptly with very comprehensive explanations. The Management also deal with the necessary agencies to ensure that everything is in place to keep Eunice safe and looked after.

The building, inside and out, is well maintained and always clean and tidy. 

We would highly recommend Greenways Care Home.

I just wanted to share a compliment for Greenways given by a clients partner.

He felt the care she is receiving is "First Class". The home has worked very hard to build a relationship also with the partner to make him feel welcome and included which has made all the difference.

Incredible carers who will do anything for the residents. Activities provided are varied and the carers try to include everyone. Food is of a good standard and plentiful. All care is given to regular monitoring of the health of the residents. Lovely knowledgeable, friendly staff and management. Accommodation is lovely, with rooms having the space to bring personal possessions.

This is a wonderful home for care. Due to covid the entertainment and activities they have done wonders.


Not exotic but very homely with good facilities and extremely caring staff who treat the residents as family. The staff are also extremely helpful and co-operative to residents families. There is nothing to fault. I have not visited since March, save external contact, but the staff have still been excellent since lockdown, and my aunt seems happy and content.

The home is very clean and well maintained. The food is always fresh, and the staff are very good both with relatives and residents. My mother is very happy there, and as a family, we can relax knowing she is being well looked after.

My mother has lived at Greenways care home for almost two years. She has excellent care from all the staff. Greenways is a real home from home. There is a really happy feeling when you go there, and the family are made very welcome. Since lockdown, the carers have gone the extra bit to keep residents happy and safe. So glad we chose Greenways.

I am very happy and always have been in the 5 years I have lived at Greenways. I have a marvelous manager here along with fabulous staff who are just wonderful. The staff always have time for me to talk and are always there for me. 

I enjoy our trips out.

Everything is A O.K.. My food is very very good.

Staff are all pleasant, the food is also very nice. I like my room and i enjoy having a daily walk around the house to keep me fit.

We had our 60th Wedding anniversary celebration and Greenways set up a wonderful private meal for 2.

I like the accessibility of coming in to visit when i want and always feel welcome and part of the home.

My mum has been in Greenways for the last year and it is her home from home, the staff are excellent and very friendly. she is very happy and enjoys the company of the other residents. All the meals are prepared fresh on the premises and are varied and of excellent quality. The residents are kept occupied on a daily basis with a good variety of games, music, magazines, national papers, and of course the sweet trollie. The home is very clean and the staff ensure that it is well maintained. We would just like to express our thanks for all your help and support in both mum and us and the family.
